Star Wars returns this holiday season with its next chapter, "Skeleton Crew", an Amblin-esque tale of four young children lost in space. D23 dropped the show’s first trailer on us last month, highlighting a cast of new characters and exciting locations. Knowing Disney’s taste for corporate synergy, though, there are bound to be some familiar faces in this limited series. Here are five cameos we hope to see in Skeleton Crew!

1. Hondo Ohnaka

Hondo Ohnaka made his debut in "The Clone Wars" back in 2009 and quickly became everyone’s favorite galactic pirate. He’s worked with several characters we know to be alive during the timeline of "Skeleton Crew", including Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, and Hera Syndulla. What’s more, a real-life animatronic has been built of him and can be seen at Disney’s Star Wars-themed attraction, Galaxy’s Edge. Considering the heavy presence of pirates in the "Skeleton Crew" trailer, we’re betting on seeing a live-action Hondo in the actual show.

2. Jacen Syndulla

Jacen Syndulla is the son of Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla from the animated TV show "Star Wars Rebels", and he made his first live-action appearance last year in "Ahsoka". We know that "Skeleton Crew" takes place during the same time period as "Ahsoka", and Jacen’s similarity in age to the former’s main cast make him a prime candidate to appear in the show.

3. Carson Teva

Carson Teva has made a prominent name for himself in the Mando-verse, appearing in every single series set during this time period – "The Mandalorian", "The Book of Boba Fett", and "Ahsoka". The "Skeleton Crew" trailer featured a couple of New Republic X-Wings, and one of their cockpits may very well be occupied by the lovable pilot character. Plus, we wouldn’t want to see Paul Sun-Hyung Lee break his Star Wars TV show streak!

4. The Mandalorian

Ah yes, the gunslinging bounty hunter who started it all. Din Djarin, AKA The Mandalorian, has become a staple in pop culture thanks to his iconic armor and lovable dad energy. He’s no stranger to cameoing in other shows, as "The Book of Boba Fett" made clear. After all, this is the Mando-verse, so an appearance from him is more than likely.

5. Grogu

If The Mandalorian is to show up, then he has to bring his adopted son Grogu along with him. Also known as “Baby Yoda”, Grogu is perhaps the most beloved and well-known character in the Star Wars' Disney era. Viewers of all ages all over the world love him, so nothing would warm their hearts more than to see the kids in "Skeleton Crew" get to interact with the iconic puppet.
