"13 Reasons Why" Season 3 Features All New Mystery and YOU Can Help Solve It!
The tapes are in and one of our favorite Netflix originals is back! On August 23, Season 3 of "13 Reasons Why" will premiere… and with an entire new storyline. Check out the official trailer below:
Woah, woah, woah, woah, WOAH! That was a lot to take in. Let’s take 13 steps back and do a recap, because I don’t even know what just happened.
Do you remember how Season 2 even ended? How did this new murder in the trailer even come about? Okay, recap time!
So, in Season 2 of "13 Reasons Why", Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) finally let go of Hannah’s (Katherine Langford) ghost. It was honestly about time. Hannah’s mom (Kate Walsh) was also able to move on and followed Hannah’s dream to move to the Big Apple. With that being said, Hannah Baker will no longer be a character in the series.
Season 2 wasn’t all good news, though. A lot, and I mean a lot happened. Here is everything: Clay thought people needed to hear Hannah’s truth, so he released the tapes to the public. The Jensens took in Justin (Brandon Flynn), but we found out that he is still struggling with addiction. Monty (Timothy Granaderos) brutally assaulted Tyler (Devin Druid) in the bathroom, and as revenge, Tyler planned a school shooting. Clay was luckily able to stop him, but things didn’t turn out so well. Clay was obviously the good guy here, but when he convinced Tyler to stop and helped him escape, Clay was left with the weapon. The cops were heard nearby, so the season left us all questioning… what will happen to Clay?
Oh, and one of the most hated characters, Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice), was sentenced to only 3 months probation after he raped Hannah, Jessica (Alisha Boe), and Chloe (Anne Winters). Will this kid ever be punished?! Well, folks, it seems like someone may have taken justice into their own hands, because, as we see in the trailer for Season 3, Bryce Walker is dead.
So, 13 steps forward again. WHO KILLED BRYCE WALKER?! The trailer sets up an entire investigation that YOU can help with. That’s right, you can help out with this season’s investigation! Believe me when I say, you need to check out that link. It is a super cool experience. It is voice activated, and you are given the opportunity to speak with the deputy as well as Bryce’s mom. At the end, you are able to guess who killed Bryce Walker. Bryce isn’t the most loved character, so a lot of these characters have motives. Who do you think killed Bryce Walker?
Find out when you tune in on August 23 and binge-watch Season 3. Also, take it in because Netflix announced that there will only be one more season following this one. The show will officially end with Season 4. Check out their official Instagram for more updates and teasers!
