Youth charged in Ashton Kutcher 'swatting' case
A 12 year old boy has been charged in connection to a false emergency call that sparked a police raid on Ashton Kutcher's Los Angeles home.
Cops swarmed the actor's mansion in October (12) after officials received a hoax 911 call claiming trespassers were in the property with guns and explosives.
In December (12), detectives arrested the suspected perpetrator,
who is also alleged to have been involved with a prank involving a
local bank.
The youth has been charged with two felony counts of making false
bomb threats and two felony counts of computer intrusion. He is set
to be arraigned at Eastlake Juvenile Court on Friday (08Feb13).
Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian's mother and stepfather
and Simon Cowell have also fallen victim to the 'swatting' trend in
recent months.
