Tyler Perry visits Bobbi Kristina Brown in hospital

Filmmaker Tyler Perry paid a visit to Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in hospital on Sunday (08Feb15) as she continues to fight for her life following her near-drowning incident in January (15).

The actor and director was photographed arriving at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where the 21 year old is currently on life support.

Brown was unconscious in a bath tub at the Roswell home she shares with her partner Nick Gordon on 31 January (15), and has been hospitalized ever since.

Perry has been close to the Houston family for years, and even hired Brown, the only daughter of the music icon and ex-husband Bobby Brown, for a guest role on his sitcom For Better Or Worse months after the singer's death in 2012.

The Gone Girl star wrote a part for Brown hoping that her work on set would take her mind off the tragedy, and he later gushed over the young actress, saying she had "star potential".

Perry also gave Bobby Brown access to his private jet so he could fly to Georgia following his daughter's medical emergency.
