Tyga threatened with arrest when he returns to America

Rapper Tyga will be detained as soon as he returns to America if he doesn't address his feud with an angry ex-landlord.

An bench warrant for the Rack City star, 26, was issued on Tuesday (09Aug16) when he failed to show at a hearing in Santa Monica, California.

Tyga was called to court after allegedly failing to comply with a March (16) judgment ordering him to pay his former landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, over $480,000 in unpaid rent, damages, compensation for alleged vandalism and legal fees.

And now the landlord's attorney, Boris Treyzon, insists he means business.

"He will be detained or dates certainly will be set," he says. "He will enter into an agreement that he or representation will appear at such a date."

The lawyer is particularly upset with the fact the rapper gave his girlfriend Kylie Jenner a $189,000 customised Mercedes Maybach for her birthday on the same day he was supposed to be in court settling alleged debts.

"We have an irate client who is owed half a million dollars and then the client reads that Tyga is giving a Maybach as a gift - that's in violation of two things. There is a hold on him transferring any assets while there is a judgment outstanding - that's going to be a separate action to recover that car unless the judgment is satisfied - and he's to appear in court, be placed under oath and he needs to answer questions."

Rezai sued the star in 2012 after he allegedly broke the terms of a one-year lease on a $16,000 -a-month mansion in Malibu, California.

Court papers suggested Tyga left the property in need of repair after installing a strippers' pole in the master bedroom, damaging the property's hardwood floors, its intercom system, a gate opener and the glass-tiled shower.

Treyzon tells People.com, "His (Tyga) history in this case has been that he's ignoring this obligation and many others... We take our representation very seriously and we will continue to do it until our client is satisfied. Hopefully, now he understands there are repercussions and we will continue to push this matter forward."
