Tyga sued for $1.6 million over clothing business
Written by . Published: July 14 2015
Hip-hop star Tyga is reportedly facing a $1.6 million lawsuit from a former business associate.
The Rack City hitmaker, real name Michael Nguyen-Stevenson, is said to have set up a clothing line called Last Kings in 2013 with businesswoman Chuon Guen Lee.
She claims that Tyga promised to promote the business and get it
stocked by popular California-based retail company Tilly's.
Editors at TMZ.com report that Lee states in legal documents that
Tyga failed to follow through with his assurances and allegedly
took merchandise worth more than $500,000 when the deal fell
through.
Lee is now suing Tyga for $1.6 million plus damages, after he set
up Egypt Kings, a rival and similarly-named clothing company.
