Tori Spelling hosts daughter's birthday party as Queen of Hearts
Actress-turned-reality TV star Tori Spelling took on the role of the Queen of Hearts on Thursday (25Oct12) to celebrate her daughter Hattie's first birthday with an Alice In Wonderland-themed party.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress got into the spirit of Halloween early and dressed up her whole family as characters from Lewis Carroll's beloved fantasy, with husband Dean McDermott channeling Johnny Depp's movie portrayal of the Mad Hatter and their son Liam, five, as a mini version of the wacky creation.
Their four-year-old daughter Stella played Alice for the day, while
newborn Finn was dressed as the Drink Me potion that causes Alice
to shrink - and the birthday girl wore a multi-colored tutu.
But the elaborate 150-guest bash won't just be remembered for its
cute and colourful costumes - Hattie also chose the occasion to
take her first steps, reports UsMagazine.com.
The family celebration comes just a month after Spelling was
hospitalized for emergency surgery after her Caesarean scar from
her fourth delivery opened up.
