The Game has donated $10,000 to help the victims of the deadly typhoon which battered the Philippines last week (ends10Nov13).

Over 10,000 people have been left dead after Typhoon Haiyan ripped through the southeast Asian country, with experts branding it one of the worst natural disasters in modern history.

After seeing the devastation caused by the storm, The Game felt compelled to act and has donated the cash sum to help aid efforts through his Robin Hood Project charity.

The hip-hop star made a plea for further donations to Unicef and the Red Cross in an emotional post on his Instagram page, writing, "This hurts my heart knowing that many of those amongst the dead are little children. My heart goes out to the families + friends of those who perished for only God knows I could not deal with the loss of any of mine. If there's anyone out there who would like to donate anything.... I am sure they would appreciate any sum of money donated."
