Teresa Giudice avoids probation violation
Teresa Giudice has avoided a probation violation after she was stopped by police while trying to make it home to avoid breaking her curfew.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality star was released from prison on 23 December (15) after serving part of her 15-month sentence for fraud. She will serve the rest of her term under house arrest, and is under strict rules not to violate her probation.
However, after making a red carpet appearance in New Jersey on
Thursday (14Jan16), she left the event dangerously close to her
10pm curfew time.
Editors at TMZ.com report Teresa hailed an Uber car service, and
told the driver to go as fast as he could so she would make it home
by her curfew. The driver was then pulled over by police, and the
reality star explained the situation to the officer.
He immediately recognized who she was, and reportedly agreed the
star had already had a "tough year". The pair was let go, and
Teresa avoided a probation violation that would have landed her
back in prison.
A representative for Teresa has yet to comment on the report.
