Taylor Swift's 1989 scores largest sales since 2002

Taylor Swift's new album has sold more than 1.2 million copies.
The Shake It Off hitmaker has broken new chart records thanks to first-week sales of 1989.
The album has sold 1.287 million copies in the week ending 2
November (14), giving Swift the best sales week on the Billboard
charts since Eminem's The Eminem Show sold 1.322 million copies in
June, 2002.
She also becomes the first artist to earn three one million-plus
selling weeks on the album countdown. Swift's fourth number one
album is also the first record released in 2014 to sell more than a
million.
The rest of the new Billboard 200 chart will be released later on
Wednesday (05Nov14).
