Tara Reid 'snubbed from Sharknado sequel'

Tara Reid will miss out on starring in a sequel to cult horror Sharknado after producers decided not to include her in the follow-up, according to reports.

The American Pie star appeared alongside Ian Ziering in the bizarre project, about a violent storm which lifts killer sharks into Los Angeles, which took the country by storm when it aired on the Syfy channel earlier this month (Jul13).

Bosses at the network are now working on a second film which will be based in New York and are keen to get Ziering back on board but Reid reportedly isn't part of their plans, according to TMZ.com.
