SONY BOSSES DISMISS DRAGON TATTOO INJURY REPORT

Rooney Mara has not been injured during filming the Hollywood remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, with movie representatives insisting production is continuing as normal.

Swedish reports on Wednesday (22Sep10) suggested the actress was "severely injured" on the set of the film, and publication Nojes Bladet claimed she had suffered a debilitating shoulder injury and the Scandinavian shoot had been postponed.

But Sony bosses have dismissed the story, stating, "Production has not shut down. She is fine."

And Mara's representative has backed up the claim, telling UsMagazine.com, "The report out of Sweden is completely false. Rooney is perfectly healthy."

Rooney is portraying the role of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the latest adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy movie. Noomi Rapace played the part in the original Swedish film.
