Smiths step out on Malibu date after denying split

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith put on a united front a day after denying they are on the verge of splitting up by stepping out in California together.

The Hollywood supercouple hit back at speculation on Tuesday morning (23Aug11) that they had separated after 13 years of marriage, with the Independence Day star saying, "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

And they proved to fans they are still very much a couple with an outing in Malibu on Wednesday morning (24Aug11). The pair laughed and joked as they enjoyed brunch before heading to the nearby Malibu Colony Company for a shopping trip.
