Sick Selena Gomez axes radio interviews

Selena Gomez pulled out of a string of U.K. radio interviews on Wednesday (22May13) after falling sick.

The pop star is in London promoting her latest single Come & Get It, and she revealed during a chat on BBC Radio 1 that she was feeling unwell.

She told host Nick Grimshaw on Wednesday morning, "I'm sick. It's just a cold, travelling and everything. I went and saw a doctor yesterday so I should be fine. I'm hoping I'll feel better towards the end of the day because I've got a long day."

However, Gomez decided to axe further interviews, with a representative for the singer telling WENN, "She had to cancel some radio and digital promo today, because she's feeling unwell."

Gomez also took to her Twitter.com page to apologise to fans for the last-minute cancellations, writing in a series of posts, "Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today. I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible.

"I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow. So Sorry... Love you guys."
