Sean Kingston kidnapping case closed

Police officers have closed an investigation into the alleged kidnapping of Sean Kingston during a jewellery dispute, ruling the case is a civil matter.

The Beautiful Girls star is said to have met up with his jeweller in a parking lot in November (15) to exchange his $225,000 watch for a cheaper timepiece as he no longer wanted to pay installments on the expensive accessory.

During the exchange, which is said to have taken place inside a vehicle late at night, the $225,000 piece was taken back by the jeweller, who allegedly locked the doors of the car and drove Kingston to a secluded location, where he was thrown out without either watch.

The singer filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and officers launched an investigation into the claims, but they have now closed the case after ruling it was a business dispute, according to TMZ.com.
