Sandi Thom was trapped after Nashville tornado warning

Sandi Thom was trapped in a Nashville, Tennessee recording studio earlier this week (begs23May11) as the city was battered by storms.
Severe weather struck several of America's southern states, just days after a powerful tornado claimed more than 120 lives and devastated whole neighbourhoods in Joplin, Missouri on Sunday (22May11).
Sandi Thom was recording tracks for her next album in a Nashville studio when the storms hit, and she was forced to stay in the building after officials issued a tornado warning for the city.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Just as we left the studio we got caught in the biggest scariest hail storm I've ever seen. I stopped the car because it was too dangerous to drive and honestly thought one of those hail stones was going to come through the windscreen.
"Nashville is on tornado warning... we are all held up at the studio. Can't drive anywhere. Too dangerous."
