Ryan Gosling 'ashamed' as phone rings during interview
Actor Ryan Gosling had to squirm his way through a recent BBC TV interview when his cellphone went off in the middle of a serious chat about his directorial debut.
Gosling was promoting his film Lost River on BBC Morning, when he received a loud email and was clearly more than a little upset.
Apologizing to interviewer Charlie Stayt and retrieving his phone
from his pocket, the star tossed the mobile to his assistant
without even checking to see who the email was from.
Stayt joked, "It happens... Is it important? It could have been the
big one!"
Gosling said, "I'm ashamed... You're being very kind about it."
The BBC host then asked his guest what he would do if something
like that happened on a film set as he was shooting, prompting
Gosling to confess he'd turn into The Hulk and "start
swinging".
