Robert Pattinson lost inspiration for Twilight
British actor Robert Pattinson feels relieved to have wrapped filming on the Twilight movies, because he lost "inspiration" for his vampire role.
The star gained millions of fans with his portrayal of Edward Cullen in the franchise, but as the release of the fifth and final movie of the series approaches, Pattinson admits he is glad to be leaving the teen tales behind.
He tells Shortlist magazine, "Playing the same part for a while,
you just run out of ideas. I'm not trying to get away from it.
You're s**ewing yourself, you're saying you think your work is s**t
if you try and get away from it. And I never thought it was
(s**t).
"But I kind of got to the end of my inspiration. You get to the
point where you're like, 'I don't want to do a film for a teen
audience anymore'."
The final movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II, is
scheduled for release in November (12).
