Rob Kardashian and Lamar Odom returning to Kardashians' TV show

Rob Kardashian and Lamar Odom are returning to reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians after an absence.

Rob was virtually reclusive and had a frosty relationship with his family during his almost two-year absence from the programme, but a new teaser trailer for the show released on Thursday (14Apr16) shows a smiling Rob embracing his mum Kris Jenner.

In the clip for the upcoming season 12, Kris snuggles into Rob on a couch while saying, "Welcome home! Do you love it, do you live it, do you love it?"

Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband Lamar also featured in the teaser. The former basketball star was absent from the show while he was in hospital for months recovering from a drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in October (15). He was found unconscious, and later reportedly suffered a series of strokes as well as problems with organs including his kidneys.

In the clip, Lamar is travelling in a car with Khloe and her sister Kourtney, who tells him, “People’s prayers for you, like saved your life."

Khloe, who split from Lamar in 2013, put their divorce on hold during his health crisis but is now reportedly moving forward with proceedings.

The sports star insisted to Entertainment Tonight that nothing was concrete, saying, “We did talk, you know, everything is (up for) discussion... We talk about anything. We’ve been through a lot. It won’t ever stop.”

Khloe is reportedly wanting Lamar, who has history with addiction, to enter rehab after he was pictured drinking alcohol recently. Speaking of the images, he told the website on Wednesday (13Apr16), "Only a few people know the truth, and I just keep that close to my heart."

Meanwhile Rob recently got engaged to model Blac Chyna, who has a child with Tyga, his half-sister Kylie Jenner's boyfriend. The Kardashian family have not publicly spoken about the engagement since the news broke on 5 April (16).

Entertainer Bette Midler, however, joked on Twitter that she was confused about their family tree, tweeting, "Rob Kardashian's engaged to the MOTHER of the child of Kylie Jenner's boyfriend? They'll share a stepchild? Somebody send me a chart!"
