Rita Ora was a nervous wreck before Oscars performance
Rita Ora was so crippled with nerves before her Oscars performance in February (15), she threw up twice.
The Brit performed songwriter Diane Warren's Oscar-nominated tune Grateful, from the Beyond the Lights soundtrack, at the 87th Academy Awards, and admits she was a mess backstage.
Ora tells the BBC, "I'm just shaking thinking about it. I've never
been that scared in my life. I threw up twice. I was petrified. I
didn't want to fall off stage."
The 24 year old's performance didn't prove lucky for Warren's tune
as it lost out in the Best Original Song category to Common and
John Legend's Selma anthem Glory.
Ora says, "Everyone knew they were going to win. Just being on that
stage was enough for me... My Instagram followers went up by three
million."
