Rihanna's home targeted by thief

Rihanna's Los Angeles mansion was targeted by a burglar over the weekend (28-29Sep13).

The Umbrella hitmaker was busy touring in Australia when a crook attempted to break into her Pacific Palisades home.

According to editors at TMZ.com, the would-be thief ran away without entering the property because alarms were set off during the incident, which was caught on tape.

Rihanna faced a similar issue earlier this year (13), when an alleged stalker attempted to break into her home but mistakenly entered a neighbour's house instead.

Officers are currently investigating the latest incident.
