Ray J spends $6,000 on emergency treatment for pet dog

Ray J reportedly spent $6,000 on treatment for his pet chihuahua after the pooch nearly died.

The singer took his pet Louie to a New York animal hospital on Thursday (10Dec15) after discovering the dog was suffering from a high temperature. Doctors diagnosed little Louie with pneumonia.

Kim Kardashian's former boyfriend was handed the huge veterinary bill after emergency treatment on his dog, who he shares with fiancee Princess Love, a star of VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.

According to TMZ.com, the couple had only bought the dog from a pet store a week before it fell ill. A spokesman for the store tells the website the chihuahua's health problems are most likely the linked to the stress of the couple's move to a new home.
