Prince Harry makes first public appearance since photo scandal

British royal Prince Harry has made his first public appearance since naked pictures of him partying in Las Vegas were leaked online.

The 27 year old hit the headlines last month (Aug12) when nude photos of him surfaced on the Internet.

He went into hiding immediately after the scandal, but now he has shown his face for the first time at the WellChild Awards in London on Monday (03Sep12).

Harry, clad in a blue suit and pink tie, appeared to be in good spirits as he made his way inside the InterContinental Hotel, where the charity event, which honors terminally ill children and their doctors, was being held.

The prince, who has supported the organization since 1997, was almost caught out by a cheeky six year old, called Alex Logan, who had previously boasted on TV he was going to ask the royal about his Las Vegas party antics and joke he was glad he was clothed for their meeting at the charity bash.

But Harry heard about the youngster's plan and made sure he wasn't embarrassed.

The lad's mom says, "Harry said to Alex, 'You keep looking up at your mom (and) it looks like your dying to say something but you know she will tell you off... I heard you were on ITV (network) earlier (and) you said something cheeky, let's not talk about that here.'"
