Police called to Taylor Swift's house after suspicious man is spotted
A man was arrested after lurking around Taylor Swift's house on Wednesday (03Feb16).
According to TMZ.com, LAPD officers arrived at the Los Angeles property after getting a call from someone in the neighborhood who saw a man wandering around at the bottom of her driveway.
After the police arrived, pictures show the man being put in
handcuffs and placed into a police car. Wearing fatigues and
sporting a beard, the man didn't put up a fight as he was taken
into custody at around 4pm.
The website reports that after questioning the suspect, police
officers decided he needed to be evaluated at a hospital. He was
has yet to be charged with any crime following the arrest.
This is not the first time Shake It Off singer Taylor has had
issues with fans taking their love for her to the next level.
In March 2014, Taylor obtained a restraining order against Timothy
Sweet. She filed legal documents claiming Timothy had reportedly
bombarded her with emails, letters and social media posts
professing his love for her and claiming they were married.
One message allegedly read: “My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I
live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we
treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to
protect her the rest of my life.”
A judge ordered Timothy to stay at least 100 yards away from the
singer for the next three years. He is also believed to have been
forbidden from going anywhere near Taylor's parents.
Another man was issued a no-contact order by a judge in 2014 for
repeatedly trespassing at Taylor’s Rhode Island vacation home.
According to the Westerly Sun, 38-year-old Massachusetts man Daniel
Cole ignored warnings not to trespass.
