Pharrell Williams wants to work with Lorde
Singer/producer Pharrell Williams has issued a public plea to New Zealand singer Lorde to let him work on her new music.
The Happy star is a big fan of the Royals hitmaker, and is desperate to land a collaboration with her.
Speaking during an appearance on Australia's Sunrise TV show, he
says, "When you hear Lorde's music you hear her lyrics, you hear
her melody and you hear her music but you also feel what she's
saying... Oh man! I would love to work with her. She doesn't need
me but I would love to work with her..."
Williams has previously collaborated with some of the world's most
famous music stars including Madonna, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake,
Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears, as well as his most recent hits
with Daft Punk and Robin Thicke, and the former N.E.R.D member has
two more big names on his most wanted list.
He adds, "Prince has always been a dream to try and collaborate
with... my son loves Katy Perry so I suppose that makes all the
sense in the world."
