One Direction want Simon Cowell to pay phone bills

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson wants the band's boss Simon Cowell to pay their expensive phone bills.

The singer and his bandmates frequently indulge in costly calls on their worldwide Take Me Home tour because of cell phone roaming charges, and they want their millionaire boss Cowell to foot the bill.

Tomlinson tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Our data charges are quite ridiculous really. In no time the bills become massive as my mates will keep ringing me and chatting, no matter where I am in the world, and they don't know or maybe care that it's actually me paying the bill.

"So far Simon hasn't shown any interest in paying, it's time he started to dig deep."
