One Direction stars beg fan to stay at gig

One Direction stars Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson stunned a female fan when they singled out her out as she was trying to sneak out of their concert in Los Angeles and begged her to stay.

The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers were performing at the city's Staples Center when they spotted the woman attempting to leave the gig early with her daughter to beat the post-concert traffic.

Tomlinson and Horan immediately called out to the woman and began jokingly heckling her, even quoting lyrics from Carly Rae Jepsen's hit track Call Me Maybe, to get her to sit down again.

In a video, posted on Perezhilton.com, Tomlinson says, "She's trying to beat the traffic, the old classic," while Horan adds, "In the words of the hit song by Carly Rae Jepsen, 'Where d'ya thing you're going baby?'... I promise you, our next song is the last one, then you can leave. Yeah, deal?"

The pair appeared to be successful as they then cheered and thanked the woman for returning to her seat.
