One Direction set to release first official book

One Direction have landed a book deal.

The group's first official title, Where We Are: Our Band, Our Story, will focus on their meteoric rise to fame across the globe over the last 18 months.

A statement reads, "This is the only official book from 1D charting their journey over the last year and a half - from the places they've visited and fans they've met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows. It has been a phenomenal year - and this is a phenomenal story."

The book is set to hit shelves later this year (13).
