No Star Trek baddie for Benicio Del Toro

Director J.J. Abrams has dismissed reports he's cast Benicio Del Toro as the villain of his upcoming Star Trek sequel.
Rumours surfaced last month (Nov11) claiming the filmmaker had met with the star about the as-yet-untitled-project, and had subsequently cast Benicio Del Toro as the leading bad guy.
But when questioned about the speculation by reporters at
HitFix.com, AJ.J. brams told them the gossip about Del Toro is "not
true".
The sequel is set for a 2013 release.
