Nick Carter's movie pushed back due to Backstreet Boys tour
Nick Carter's horror movie project Evil Blessings will not begin filming until next year (15) due to his commitments with the Backstreet Boys.
The pop singer used crowd-funding website Indiegogo.com to fund the movie he co-wrote last year (13) and brought in $85,000 to cover the production costs.
The project suffered a major setback last July (13) when the
director died suddenly, but Carter vowed to press onwards.
However, the film has now been hit with another delay due to
Carter's other commitments.
Production will not begin until January, 2015 because the singer is
too busy touring with his boyband until July (14).
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "Oh and just a
quick update. Evil Blessings is getting finishing touches done to
the script. We are looking to begin shooting in January... With the
busy schedule and success of the Backstreet Boys tour it has made
it difficult to set a solid date this year for filming...The good
thing is that it has given me time to perfect the script. I want
this project to be the best it can be for you."
