Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom agreed to wait six months to introduce son to new lovers
Australian model Miranda Kerr and her ex-husband Orlando Bloom made a pact not to introduce their son Flynn to new girlfriends or boyfriends until they had been dating them for at least six months.
As a result, the five-year-old hasn't met many of the men and women mum and dad have dated since they split in 2013.
"(We decided) that we had to know the person for six months and
feel good about them (before introducing them to Flynn)," the
32-year-old stunner told Net-a-Porter's weekly digital magazine The
EDIT, revealing her son has met her latest love, Snapchat.com
founder Evan Spiegel.
"Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well," Miranda added.
"Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now!"
And it's clear Miranda is smitten with her new man, who is seven
years younger than she is - but has a middle-aged soul.
"He's 25, but he acts like he's 50," she chuckled. "He's not out
partying. He goes to work in Venice (California), he comes home. We
don't go out. We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed
early. (But) in some ways he does (feel like a younger man). I'm
telling you, I've got the best of both worlds."
The model hasn't always been so lucky in love - as well as her
failed marriage to Lord of the Rings star Orlando, she lost her
first love, Christopher Middlebrook, in a car accident.
"I was 16, and it was really a turning point," Miranda shared. "I
was depressed and went to a few therapists, but then I realised the
only person who could help me was myself."
The Aussie pin-up has also dated finance broker Adrian Camilleri
and musician Jay Lyon.
