Miley Cyrus concerned about Britney Spears' happiness

Miley Cyrus is concerned about Britney Spears and if she is happy releasing new music.

The Wrecking Ball singer is good friends with Britney and they even collaborated on the song SMS (Bangerz) from Miley's 2013 album Bangerz and Miley gifted Britney large balloons for her birthday last December (15).

Due to Miley's manager Adam Leber, the pair have kept in touch but she admits she gets worried when Britney releases new music because she wonders if the pop princess is happy with her songs, her schedule and the direction of her career.

"We’ve stayed close because of that (her manager)," she told Elle magazine. "She’s a little distant in her world. I just want Britney to be happy. Every time she puts out new music, I’m like, ‘Is that what she wants to be doing? Or does she just want to chill?'"

However, she adds Britney, who is gearing up to release her next album Glory, seems to be doing well, saying, "She’s looking so good right now, and looking happy."

The 34-year-old had a breakdown in 2007 after which her father Jamie was put in control of her finances.
