Mila Kunis' convicted stalker apprehended
Police officers in California have recaptured an obsessed fan convicted of stalking actress Mila Kunis after he escaped from a psychiatric facility on Saturday night (30May15).
Stuart Dunn pleaded no contest to a stalking charge in 2013 and was placed in a secure mental health centre in Pomona, California, but the 30 year old made an "unauthorised departure" from the clinic over the weekend, sparking a major police hunt.
The search came to an end early Wednesday morning (03Jun15), when
officials confirmed members of the Los Angeles County sheriff's
major crimes division had apprehended Dunn in an undisclosed
location.
Probation Department Deputy Chief Reaver Bingham has since released
details of Dunn's escape, revealing officials at the facility
embarked on a search for the man after he failed to return to his
room after taking a shower. Dunn had climbed through a bathroom
window and scaled a barbed-wire fence in order to flee from the
centre.
Dunn's stalking conviction stemmed from an incident in 2012, when
he was accused of breaking into Kunis' California home and showing
up at her gym, violating a restraining order banning him from
getting close to the Black Swan star.
