Retired Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps is celebrating after becoming engaged to his longtime girlfriend.
The sports star took to Twitter.com on Sunday (22Feb15) to share the happy news with fans, revealing he proposed to former beauty queen Nicole Johnson and she accepted.
Phelps posted a picture of the couple cuddling in the snow and
added in a caption, "She said yes".
They have been dating on and off since 2007.
Johnson is a former beauty queen who was crowned Miss California
USA back in 2010.
