Swimmer Michael Phelps has apologized to his fans, friends and family members following his latest DUI arrest in Maryland.

excessive speeding and crossing double lanes.
Hours later, Phelps released a statement via Twitter.com, taking
full responsibility for his actions and disappointing fans and
loved ones. It reads: "I understand the severity of my actions and
take full responsibility. I know these words may not mean much
right now but I am deeply sorry to everyone I have let down."
