Meghan Trainor pulls new music video over unapproved Photoshopping

Meghan Trainor pulled the music video for her new single hours after it was released after realizing her body had been Photoshopped without her approval.

The Grammy winner's promo for her song Me Too was posted online on Monday (09May16), and featured Meghan and her friends cruising through Los Angeles as the pop star sang, "Who's that sexy thing I see over there/That's me, standing in the mirror".

However, soon after the video was released, it was no longer available to view, and Meghan took to Snapchat to express her disappointment over the editing.

"Hey guys, I took down the Me Too video because they Photoshopped the c**p out of me," Meghan said in a series of videos. "I'm so sick of it and I'm over it, so I took it down until they fix it.

"My waist is not that teeny; I had a bomb (good-looking) waist that night (and) I don’t know why they didn't like my waist, but I didn’t approve that video and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed.

"I told them to fix it ASAP (Rocky) 'cuz I will be going to Times Square to play it for my fans, so I hope they fix it for me. And I am sorry about this... The video is still one of my favorite videos I’ve ever done, I'm very proud of it. I just am p**sed off that they broke my ribs."

The 22-year-old has been outspoken about promoting a positive body image ever since she broke out with her chart-topping single All About That Bass, which was inspired by her curvaceous figure.
