Megan Fox defends troubled Shia LaBeouf
Actress Megan Fox has defended her Transformers co-star Shia Labeouf over his recent headline-grabbing antics.
The troubled actor has been involved in a string of odd stunts, including wearing a brown paper bag on his head while walking the red carpet at a German film festival, and he was arrested for disrupting a Broadway production of Cabaret and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment.
LaBeouf briefly enrolled in an outpatient rehab program to tackle
his drinking following the Broadway outburst, and Fox is not
concerned his recent antics will turn into a lifetime of troubles
for her old friend.
Fox tells the New York Daily News, "I'm not worried about Shia. I
love my Shia. He's perfectly fine."
She adds, "I haven't talked to him in a couple of years, but I
don't worry about him. He's a brilliant kid, talented and funny...
There's no reason to worry."
In 2009, Fox denied rumors she was dating LaBeouf, but he later
insisted they "hooked up" while making the two Transformers
films.
