McFly help loved-up pair get engaged

Mcfly helped a fan's boyfriend propose by filming a special video message before he went down on one knee.

Ben Beechey enlisted British bandmates Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd to introduce his proposal to girlfriend Tegan Lywood at a family party in a pub in Devon, England earlier this month (Dec12).

In the footage, which appeared on a TV screen in the venue, the pop rockers said, "Hi Tegan. We're McFly and your boyfriend informs us that you're a fan and we thought we'd get in touch to wish you a Merry Christmas.

"Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Actually your boyfriend Ben might have something he wants to say to you so it's over to you Ben."

Beechey then got down on one knee to propose to his shocked partner, who immediately said yes. The pair will wed in 2014.
