Matthew Morrison opening performing arts school

Actor Matthew Morrison is launching a performing arts high school in California next year (16).

The former Glee star attended the Orange County High School of the Arts as a teenager and he is using his alma mater as a blueprint for his new educational facility.

"The director (of the Orange County High School of the Arts)... and I have been talking about it (starting a school for) a long time... because (my high school is) such a great model," he tells late night host Seth Meyers.

"Next year, we are launching the California School of the Arts San Diego and the year after that it's going to be (in)... South Bay...," he continues. "We're going to do it in California for a little bit and see how those work and then hopefully make it a nationwide thing."
