Matt Goss scraps show due to illness

British singer Matt Goss has scrapped shows in Las Vegas this weekend (06-08Jul12) after falling ill.

The former Bros star has a residency at the famous Caesars Palace in Sin City on Friday and Saturday nights, but a sore throat has forced him to pull out of his upcoming gigs.

He has been put on complete voice rest by doctors in a bid to ensure he recovers as quickly as possible.

The show's choreographer Robin Antin explained the cancellation on Twitter.com, writing, "Unfortunately Matt Goss won't b (be) performing this weekend.. recovering from sore throat, doctor's orders complete voice rest for a few days.

"We look forward 2 (to) seeing u (you) all next weekend... at Caesars Palace! Matt would luv (love) to hear from u (you) while he rests his voice!"
