Matt Damon cooks up dishes with top chefs at charity bash
Written by . Published: September 20 2012
Matt Damon showed off his cooking skills in New York on Tuesday night (18Sep12) when he signed up to assist top chefs Mario Batali and Ming Tsai as part of a charity fundraiser.
The Bourne Identity star was persuaded to take part in the Family Reach Foundation benefit by his brother, even though he's a terrible cook.
He told USA Today, "I suck... Growing up, our mother used to make
us cook one night a week. I would try to manipulate my way out of
it. But she was pretty good about making us do it. Beef Stroganoff
was my signature dish."
The event, CookingLive!, at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown New
York, benefits the families of cancer-stricken kids.
