Lydia Hearst and Chris Hardwick restage proposal on Emmys party red carpet

Model Lydia Hearstand comedian Chris Hardwick made sure everyone knew about their engagement by restaging the proposal at HBO's Emmys after party on Sunday night (20Sep15).

Hardwick got down on one knee to pretend to propose to his fiancee on the red carpet at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Center.

The 43-year-old TV personality and his 31-year-old bride-to-be announced their engagement earlier this month (Sep15).

Hearst told People.com, "Honestly, I'm over the moon and I'm still in shock. I'm so fortunate to be marrying the man of my dreams. I knew that I was completely in love with him and he's the love of my life, but who knew what the future held? Then he swept me off my feet and asked me to marry him."
