Lupe Fiasco planning to retire after next three albums
Rapper Lupe Fiasco has declared his upcoming three albums will be his last.
The Superstar hitmaker took to Twitter.com before Christmas (Dec15) to announce he will be serving up a triple treat for fans in 2016, claiming the first project will be named Drogas.
He subsequently shared the other two albums will be called Skulls
and Roy, and now he has revealed he will be hanging up the
microphone for good after Roy's release.
"Roy will be my last album," he simply tweeted on Friday (08Jan16).
"LUPend".
Drogas will serve as the follow up to his fifth studio album,
Tetsuo & Youth, which hit retailers at the beginning of 2015.
Lupe, real name Wasalu Jaco, will be able to start bidding farewell
to devotees in the coming days as he embarks on a North American
tour in Seattle, Washington on 13 January (16).
It's not the first time Lupe has announced retirement plans - he
claimed he was quitting music in 2008, following the release of his
third album, while he hinted at another departure from the industry
early last year (15), before temporarily signing off Twitter.
