Luke Bryan wants more 'feuds' with fellow American Idol judges
Luke Bryan and his fellow American Idol judges need to get "a little better" with their feuding.
For his latest gig, the country singer has joined Katy Perry and Lionel Richie on the judging panel of the rebooted TV talent show. And in a new interview with Extra, Luke admitted the judges are all gelling so far - a little too well, in fact.
'We all complement each other really well," he said. "You know, our biggest hurdle is that we all see the talent very similarly. We got to get a little better about, you know, feuding."
Auditions are currently underway, with the trio fitting in filming around their busy schedules. And Luke is more than aware of the responsibility that comes with his new role.
"It's stressful because you have to be... you have to critique in a short period of time and you don't want to get it wrong... you don't want to be the idiot that said no to the next Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood," the 41-year-old mused.
But Luke remains confident that the judges will be able to scout out some genuine talent on the revamped Idol.
"It's really fun, way more fun than I thought it was going to be just because it's like with every contestant that walks though, it's like you're opening up a Christmas present," he smiled.
