Logan Lerman: 'Shia LaBeouf stank while filming Fury'

Actor Logan Lerman was left gagging during a fight scene with Shia Labeouf for new movie Fury because his co-star refused to wash throughout the shoot.

The pair appears together in writer/director David Ayer's new World War II drama about a tank crew, and the Transformers star was determined to accurately portray the grim life of a soldier.

LaBeouf cut back on showers during filming, and Lerman was overwhelmed by his colleague's body odour when they were forced to wrestle for a violent scene.

Lerman tells ShortList magazine, "He didn't really shower. The guy smelt like s**t. Not like actual s**t, but of BO (body odour). When we were fighting, I didn't want his arm around my neck because of the stench. But the dude was just f**king dedicated, you know? More than any other actor I've ever worked with. I love that guy."
