Lindsay Lohan's stepmom sentenced to jail time for cop attack

Lindsay Lohan's stepmom has become the latest family member to be sentenced to jail time for lashing out at a police officer.

Kate Major, the 33-year-old estranged wife of the actress' father Michael, was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in public last month (Oct16).

She made matters worse for herself by hitting one of the arresting cops, and she was booked on charges of battery on an officer, and disorderly intoxication.

Major was sentenced to six months behind bars on Monday (28Nov16) after it was determined her latest arrest violated the terms of her probation for a 2015 incident in New Orleans, Louisiana, when she allegedly threatened flight crew on a plane while drunk.

Sources tell TMZ that when she gets out of jail, Kate will still face assault plus drunk and disorderly charges for the alleged cop attack.
