Lil Wayne gig starts badly as rapper dodges beer bottle
Lil Wayne's weekend (21Mar15) show in Florida was a rowdy affair as his security detail had to deal with a heckler and a fan who threw a beer bottle at the rapper.
Reports suggest the crowd at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale became agitated when Wayne hit the stage three hours late for his Sorry For The Wait 2 tour and the gig quickly turned violent.
In video posted to Instagram.com, Wayne blasts the reveler who
threw the bottle, stating, "Before I get started, somebody threw a
motherf**king beer at me."
One fan tells WENN security guards located the beer thrower and
escorted him out of the venue, and then had to deal with a heckler
upon their return.
According to multiple insiders, one fan used his iPhone to show off
a scrolling message to the stage, which read: "Shut the f**k up and
put on Weezy". It later changed to "F**k Weezy", prompting Wayne to
allegedly point the fan out to security as he stepped out
onstage.
The visual heckler was escorted from Revolution Live as Lil Wayne
began the show.
