Lena Dunham urges boyfriend to 'get on it' now all Americans can marry

Actress and writer Lena Dunham has urged her longtime boyfriend Jack Antonoff to propose to her following the Supreme Court's ruling on gay marriage.

The Girls star famously vowed never to wed the fun. and Bleachers rocker until same-sex marriage was legal for everyone in America - and now that it is, she's calling on her partner not to waste time.

Following the Supreme Court's historic ruling to legalize gay marriage nationwide on Friday (26Jun15), Dunham took to Twitter with her own marriage dreams.

After sharing celebratory messages of support to all gays and lesbians who can now legally marry in all 50 states, Dunham, whose sister is gay, joked, "Weddings are about to get a lot less boring."

She then tweeted her boyfriend directly and wrote, "Get on it, yo..."

The couple has been dating since 2011.
