Leann Rimes couldn't resist recreating a scene from her 2000 movie Coyote Ugly by dancing on a bar in Aspen, Colorado on Wednesday (20Dec17).
The How Do I Live singer appeared at the end of the movie to perform a rendition of Can't Fight the Moonlight, a song written by actress Piper Perabo's budding songwriter character Violet.
In the film, LeAnn sings the track while walking up and down the Coyote Ugly bar, where barmaids, played by actresses including Maria Bello, Tyra Banks and Bridget Moynahan, get up and perform racy routines for punters.
On Wednesday night, LeAnn shared a picture of herself kneeling on top of a bar laughing while wearing a white cowboy hat besides two pals, who are standing on the bar and clapping.
"This is what happens when your friends at @kemosabe1990 in Aspen move locations and open up a bad a*s private bar upstairs and then turn on Can’t Fight The Moonlight. No one could resist! Coyote Ugly 2.0!" she wrote in the caption.
LeAnn released the song as a single, complete with a music video, and it became one of her most famous songs. It topped charts in the U.K., Australia and Ireland and reached number 11 in America.
The star was in the popular ski town to perform at Belly Up Aspen on Wednesday, the last date of her 13-stop Christmas tour.
She told the Aspen Times ahead of the show that she loved smaller live music venues.
"It's really intimate," she said. "I love having that with an audience. I think people really have a moment of getting to know me and hopefully it's a great show of fantastic music."
