Lea Michele lands book deal
Lea Michele is set to tell her life story in a new book which she hopes will serve as a "how-to" guide for fame-hungry fans.
The Glee actress/singer has signed a deal with publishing giant Random House to release her autobiography, titled Brunette Ambition, and it is described as "part memoir, part how-to and part style-guide".
The book will detail Michele's upbringing in New York City and her
time as a Broadway child star before she landed a role in the hit
musical TV series, and she hopes the story will help her fans find
fame themselves.
The 26 year old says in a statement, "There wasn't a guidebook when
I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and
know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of
sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to
harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm, and hard work to make
your dreams come true."
The book is due to hit stores early next year (14).
